Old Saltings – Capturing the best of St Ives and Porthmeor beach

About Old Saltings

Old Salting’s sympathetic refurbishment in 2011 brought this characterful home back to life. All on one level, stretching the length of the building, it has a unique space. And the window seat, you’ll find it hard to drag yourself away.

Perfect for couples, families or friends. It’s a property designed to create memories where every member of the party has something to enjoy.

Children fall in love with the bunk room, their own table and chairs and being so close to the beach.

The ‘cook’ of your party will have one of the best views from the kitchen and did we mention that window seat? Perfect for a glass of wine and a book followed by sunset.

Stay close to the beach, create memories and enjoy everything Old Saltings has to offer…

The heart of Old Saltings is the living area. Most are naturally drawn towards the picture window at the front of the property. With several seating areas, including sofas, reclining chairs and a desk space.

Shelves and artwork line the walls with a mixture of photographs, ornaments and beautiful paintings.

A TV and DVD player are in the soft seating area. A dining table and children’s table for meal times are near the kitchen.

BALCONY
Accessed via the Zen Room, the balcony overhangs the beach.

KITCHEN

The galley style kitchen is long and easy to use. With good surface space, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, pantry and 4 ring hob. The ‘cook’ of the party won’t be missing out, the views from here are stunning.

The pantry, shelves and cupboards store all of the cooking essentials, from pots and pans through to a MagiMix and fine Denby china. The washer and dryer are in a cupboard in the hallway.
